I've just been grooving to their first album from 1985.

E = MC2 has some samples of dialogue from Performance.

Are there any other BAD fans ?

Yes! Listening to B.A.D. will give you a fresh perspective on The Clash. I also like how they sampled The Who on Rush:

Yep. Saw them at Belfast's Ulster Hall on the first show they did after the second album came out.

Decent show, although the sound was pants.

Gonna wipe those tears away... replace them with happiness...

Great, interesting stuff -- one of the very few "rockers" to get in on the ground floor of hip hop. And still likely the best mix.

But for some reason I want to send Mick Jones a case of protein shakes!

I always liked B.A.D. They were the consolation prize after Mick J left the Clash.

Saw them in Vancouver in '92 along with PiL, plus the bands Live and Blind Melon. I thought "This is Big Audio Dynamite",their first album, (with the clever use of movie samples) was their best.
