Well, Iam 58 of age---and I remember that Brian jones seems to be the the "leader" in their first years. When or especially "WHY" he lost this Title to mick jagger?
And Why couldnt Keith take the lead?

Why do you mention your age in every single post? Nobody cares how old you are.

If a band lacks a manager it's always good to one or two in the band to take care of that sort of thing. I guess that's mainly what's being a bandleader means to me. Somebody who take care of promoting the band, fix gigs, hiring new members, taking care of buisness and so on and maybe also be a musical director of the band.

At once. Since he was born.

They it materialised when he became the singer. Then he became the leader. Regardless they/he were/was aware.

When it became apparent that they were a huge international concern capable of generating great amounts of revenue. Mick seemed best suited to guide them through an increasingly complex economic landscape. He didn't do it himself but he was smart enough to employ the best. Meanwhile Keith shot heroin. For years. And became useless over time.

And Keith got too much involved in dope.

I don't consider Mick as a typical leader type. He just isn't. But he's the singer and got the most attention. And he wanted to be just as popular as Brian. Keith wasn't a problem, because he was on dope. Neither were followers Charley and Bill. So there was Mick, also a perfectionist. And he was an important songwriter as well, which puts you in a leader position automatically. One could say that the outside world made Mick the leader.
