The 2014 Superbowl is the one to look forward to. First cold weather Superbowl ever.

Yeah, but in 2014 we have to look forward to Bon Jovi doing the halftime show. I'll prefer the waiting.

Maybe they can get Springsteen to make an encore appearance. I'm not a huge Springsteen fan but he's a lot better than Bon Jovi.
You're right. I didn't realize the Minnesota game was in a dome. My mistake!Quote

I'm talking about outdoors in cold weather, exposed to the elements, not in a dome. If you play the game in a dome it doesn't matter if the game is in Miami or Antarctica.

Although I'm with FrankM in thinking that it would be fun to see all "the beautiful people" at a super bowl played in a snowstorm, at the same time I'm hoping that 2014 goes off without any problems so the NFL will consider other non-dome northern cities as potential host sites. While I don't think either of my two favorite teams would qualify (New England: To Far from Boston/Major City & Pittsburgh: Sending "the beautiful people" to Pittsburgh?) I'd like to think that a success in NJ/NY would open up the possibilities for a game in San Francisco, Chicago or Green Bay.
In regards to the original post regarding the possibility of Van Halen at the Super Bowl... One: Van Halen just canceled a bunch of summer dates. Does anyone really think that they'll still be on speeking terms with each other by next February? Two: David Lee Roth with a live mic at the Super Bowl? I don't care how long the delay is, if I'm the producer, there's no way I'm signing off on that.
Peace,
Mr DJA
