Hey Guys,

Moving next month and have a ton of records to transport
to my new home.Any suggestions on the best way to move them??
I probably have about 500 lp's there my pride and joy so i'm
definitely against just throwing them in a box.

Any helpful suggestions would be greatly appreciated

I box em, snugly but not too tight, then put them in MY CAR along with whatever audio equipment I have and move that stuff myself. Don't overpack the box because they are heavy as hell.

I was always afraid the movers would stack 'em or trash 'em.

Thank GOD I haven't had to move for the past 8 years. Am happily settled or the time being. Moving sucks.

Keep them vertical and fairly tightly packed. I've moved mine 3 times. Always in the car. I wouldn't trust movers with them.

Acquire lots of bubble wrap from the logistic's personnel at your comapny's warehouse. Pack it in a box and move the albums in your car - with the air conditioning on- humidity may be the worse enemy here -

Good for 100 LPs and then 50 CDs above...and 500 albums is just one drive with your car...I got 5000 Lps to move....
