Too bad, last of all! Well done NICOS, Silver and Jorden. But the man to beat is Stonesrick: what a Start. Let's hope for two great games today.

Terrible result for Poland yesterday. After first half we had one goal lead and one player more on the field and in the second half we just stopped playing! Referee was irritating - few bad decisions and he whistled all the time. Russians are very strong and much better than three other teams in group A. Good game. There will be great battle for second place between Poland, Czech, and Greece.

I read somewhere that the English team went to visit an orphanage this week.

"It is heartbreaking to see all those desperate and sad faces without any hope", said Krzysztof, 7 years old.

The English team also visited Auschwitz. On Friday (yesterday). The players were "upset", wrote a serious Dutch paper. And you can see that, looking at their faces on this picture:

Wayne Rooney, Joe Hart, Leighton Baines, Theo Walcott, Andy Carroll, Jack Butland and Phil Jagielka and managers Roy Hodgson and Avram Grant visited Auschwitz. Rest of the team decided not to go and they visited Oskar Schindler factory instead.

The Dutch play extremely disappointingly. A very uncertain beginning, then playing rather well, but a deadly Danish attack and 0-1 for the Danish team. After that the Dutch defence was very weak and the second Danish goal seemed more probable that the 1-1. Maybe a hot second half.

Wouldn't worry too much Kleermaker. We always find a way to lose a match.

Odd, but good game. thumbs up

Interesting tournament thus far which might feature un-expected teams in the later stages.

The first big sensation is a fact: Denmark beats Holland, and rightly so! A well deserved victory by an average team that used all its possibilities. The Dutch were dramatic. Incredibly weak, defensively and offensively and without any confidence.

Denmark will crumble when faced with a more focused team.

Wake up call for Holland, for sure they'll come back with more intent and bite.

Roll on Germany v Portugal. Exciting group! hot smiley

Oooohh, my worst fears came true. Too many offensive players wanted to prove themselves after
a weak season at their clubs. Lots of actions, no results. Danish team rightly took the victory
for being very effective.
This was the match we HAD to win to have a chance for the quarter finals. Germany and Portugal
will give us less opportunities than Denmark.

I want to get lost in your rock 'n roll and drift away

Only Lahm, Podolski and Klose visited the camp. Bierhoff said the rest of the players is too sensitive to do it. Italian team visited too.

Podolski and Klose are really Polish - both born in Poland

So are Lisicki and Kerber in women's tennis. Although born in Germany, their parents are Polish.

What's up? Germany's best athletes are Polish!?!?!?!?

Not a great first half, best chance for Portugal thus far. Germany not impressive.

Congratulations Denmark. Perhaps they only need a draw now to qualify for the finals. Holland and Portugal have their work cut out. One hell of of a group this.

So far, none of the teams who have played look like outright winners. Portugal rely on two players too much. Germany looked good, well organised and strong, but still lacked in the attacking. Holland should have won that game by 2 goals, it wasnt their day, but they will come back no doubt.

Germany won in the end by a lucky punch.
Holland didn“t play that bad, although wasting such an amount of chances...

I think the dutch will be able to beat the germans, same with Portugal against
Denmark.

This might lead to two real final matches in this group.

Most convincing team so far is Russia.
