Joe Hart, England's goalie, is criticized in Swedish tabloids today. His behaviour during the penalties is considered unsportsmanlike. I tend to agree. Very unnecessary conduct.

He grinned and made grimaces during the penalty kicks. Very stupid.

As far as I remember he smiled before his clubmate Balotelli shot the first penalty, and I saw Balotelli had to smile as well for a short moment.
Not really something to worry about...

Anyone who kept his eyes open during the penalty kicks
would know what I mean. Here's an example:

Pirlo: "you show your tongue, I'll show you panenka"

oh,he really should be punished and banned for some matches.
this is incredible mean and not tolerable.
the tongue is exclusively licensed to the stones.
now that´s what it´s all about ?
ridiculous, think of some goalies running around, kicking or touching the ball
before a penalty is shot,
usually no one worries about because everyone thinks of some psycho games...
he did nothing similar.

by the way...what about Buffon when leaving the field before the penalties started ?

Under investigation by the UEFA for laughing and hugging after the match...

First time in ages that I am enjoying Italia's attitude. We are far from perfect, our defense is very weak (its not the worst of all times because that was South Africa 2010, but it is close to the terrible levels of Mexico 1986). But instead of reinforcing the midfield with the usual goons incapable of playing (as Lippi would have done) Prandelli bet on a quality midfield!

Now anything can happen ...

As a Man City fan this was the highlight of the whole match for me. Priceless.

I have to agree, liddas, for ages I enjoyed watching Italia.
And I don´t think at all Germany is the favourite in the match.

Yes best team won in the end. Super Mario's penalty was pretty good (is it right he's never ever missed a penalty?) but how cool was Pirlo - that was nerves of steel.

Now they need to beat the Tedeschi (Germans)

Would like a Portugal v Italia final

I was not talking about banning or punishing anyone, SFF. I was just pointing out that his behaviour was unsportsmanlike and quite unnecessary.
But I guess I'm just old-fashioned...

I know,Stoneage, and my comment was just some irony because I don´t understand why it did upset you so much.

To me some brutal tackling or spying belongs much more in this category.

Anyway,no foul intended.

Remember Grobbelar from the Liverpool in final with Rome in '80.
But Grobbelar was a clown but a fantastic player too,Hart only a clown

The Swedes need to lighten up.

As if that was not enough, one English supporter disrobed himself to disturb the Italians. Here is proof of that:

It's going to be very hard for Portugal tonight. If Spain play a 6 man midfield again then Ronaldo will be silenced. It will be interesting to see what formation Spain will use.
