The only one who is trying to make trouble is you kleermaker, talk to me directly and don't try to abuse mtaylor.

You said

"Btw: interesting that the former AS-powers Nazi Germany and fascist Italy are playing against each other in the one half final and the two former 'neutral' fascist countries during the war, Spain under dictator Franco and Portugal under dictator Salazar, in the other half final. Besides three out of four half finalists are Euro 'problem countries'. Well, the players themselves are doing well."

and to answer to this: No it's not interesting because the two things have nothing to do with each other. And therefore all you are trying (for whatever reason) is to put these countrys into bad light. You are the troublemaker, i am just responding. Switching to your own language shows that you are not interessted in a serious discussion.

I thought you were Dutch. As a historian I found it curious and said it to my wife as well. That's all. You try to make much more out of it. That's why I said in Dutch: if you don't have nothing to say, please keep your mouth shut. You can find that out yourself by google translate very easily. But well, I end this discussion and keep my mouth shut myself.

Back to the match: not very interesting for the neutral spectator. Spain isn't playing very well, which is a compliment for Portugal. A chess play thus far.

Many yellow cards (8), many fouls, no goals, no real chances.
Not very exciting. I think Germany-Italy will be much more entertaining. At least I hope so.

Well, finally Spain began to play. But why so late? They got the best (few) chances, but I'm afraid for Spain that Portugal will win in the end by penalties. We'll see.

A just winner: Spain the first finalist. I hope they'll play better then.

Jajajaj, RONALDA just said "It's been unfair",

Can you believe it!!??
What did Portugal to win?
90 minutes very close to both teams, but extra time Spain should win, just see the stadistics, just 90 minutes to the glory again, no team in the world have won Euro Cup, World Cup and now finalist,
this is historic!!!

A boring, mediocre 0-0 match. No team deserved to win. Some observations: Why didn't Bosque throw in Torres when so little happened in front of the Portugal goal? Remarkably bad coaching. When you are the better team you shouldn't rely on penalty kicks in the end. Spain were just lucky, nothing else. And Ronaldo; he insists on taking every freekick with the same poor result every time. He didn't even hit the goal. And why did they put him as number five in the penaltykicks and made two centerbacks take penalty three and four? I hope Germany makes the process short with these side-passers in the final! (If they don't stumble on the the Italians on their way).

Nothing personal, Carlitos. I understand that you feel for Spain, as would I were I a Spaniard. I'm not so fond of 0-0 matches, that's all. Best wishes to you and congratulations to the win.

And what have spain done in 120 mins?? It was a boring match, nearly no chances of goal for any team and the result was decided by the luck of the penalties that could either way.

Portugal showed less than Italy and Croatia against Spain. Spain is still very unconvincing and shows boring defensive football (they have the ball, but they don't attack - it's defensive football for me). They played great in 2008 with two strikers, with Del Bosque they are just effective, but it works well. Zinedine Zidane was the last player who scored against Spain in knockout stage.
