Can I quote myself for once? From 20th of June (page 21 in this thread). I picked all four quarterfinal winners right. Still a lot to go though. I'm pretty sure Germany will win against Italy. Spain will be favorites against Portugal but Portugal will have a fair chance winning that game too.
It's probably not updated yet - I still have the same score as well.

Both Germany and Italy are playing a very different style compared with previous championships.
Both countries now seem able to "make" a game, taking initiative and risk beyond the midfield.
I think it will be a very interesting game to see Germany and Italy fight each other in 2012.

Picking quarterfinal winners wasn't so difficult, only England and Italy seemed to be equal. No chances for weak group A teams and little chance when you play against Spain. But i agree with your prediction and I hope Germans are able to beat Spain. Can't watch this boring football.

Before yesterday's match I had 145 points.
I predicted Italy to win: 5 points.
I correctly predicted Italy as half finalist: 20 points.
Yet I am still at 145 points.

Oh no - my worst nightmare - playing Italy in the semi-final. If there's one team Germany never seem to play well against in competitions it's Italy.

Italy is much more offensive than they used to be.
So, I'm not so sure that Germany can do it easily.
Actually, I wouldn't be surprised to see Italy win. Pirlo is the leader and they still have an excellent collective spirit
