I think the Azzurri are back into their traditional tournament mode- start off slowly and methodically build in confidence and form. If I'm correct this could spell trouble for whomever they face Sunday.

Today may be tricky for ENG v UKR too on and off the pitch.

I think you're right concerning the Italians. They do it the way they use to.

Ukraine will be fighting for its last chanche against England, so I'm expecting an interesting match tonight.

PS: Robben didn't say Shut up! to Van Marwijk during the match against Portugal. It sounded that way in Dutch. He said Go away man! Well, we can forgive him that.

For the Dutch: see this video here and the comments:

Most probably England and France will qualify from this group. Slavic teams are often vey talented but a bit naive so they tend to lose out in the end. Both host nations will, probably, be out of the tournament which is a bit sad. Sweden were a bit unlucky to meet Ukraine in the opening match. Welbeck and Walcott are two very talented English strikers, add Rooney on top of that and you will have a decent team. My guess for tonight: Two draws.

What a poor match from France !!!
Shame on us, as usual unfortunately...

I'm watching Ukraine-England or England-Ukraine. Anyway, Ukraine is playing rather well, but a bit too hasty. England is playing very defensively. Only one chance, a header by Rooney. But he misses what we call here match rhythm.

Both second halves must offer something more, goals!

btw. the refs are okay in this tournament thus far.

Both England and France are perfectly happy with 0-0. The only thing that can raise the temperature is Ukraine or Sweden scoring a goal. Which just happened as I'm printing this text... Zlatan scored! 1-0 Sweden.

Congratulaions to Sweden !
yes France is a real shame ! they reminded me of the World Cup in 2010. A disaster !
we're qualified only thanks to England ! it shows the poorness of our team.
We're gonna be slaughtered against Spain.

Spain is boring, slow and unconvincing. I want France to win. One bad game doesn't mean that team is weak.

ref missed a penalty for Crotia,I think...

Agreed!

Absolutely. And that header should have been a goal, then Spain would have been out too.

Imagine the anger here in Croatia...
Same thing happened to Ukraine today against England. A clear goal was annulled. A lot of mistakes on this Euro. I just can't believe that they don't want to use new technology for improving refereeing..

Germany will be clear favorites against Greece and Portugal will be, not clear, but favorites against Czechia. Spain will also be favorites against France. Italy - England, a draw and penalties?

The Ukrainian "goal" should have been ruled offside anyway.

Yes,I agree.

Absolutely not. And all Dutch football experts on TV agree with me. So this time I'm right. The biggest blunders by the arbitrage were the not given penalty against Spain in the match with Croatia and the not given goal scored by Ukraine. Someone anything else I missed?

My semifinals prediction: Germany - Italy and Spain - Portugal. Final: Germany - Spain. Winner: Germany!
