First half was terrible - so many bad passes. It was a nightmare to see.Quote

The difference between England and Sweden: a goalkeeper and a brilliant goal. After the 2-3, Sweden didn't believe in a good result anymore. They're out now.

One to cheer up the Dutch folks on here..

. My prediction still is that Holland makes it through, even though my heart is with Denmark.

Although that may have been discussed here before but how cool it must be for Jack white to have stadiums full of soccer fans chanting the riff of a tune he has written years ago; I'm talking about "Seven nation Army". I heard it for the first time a couple of days ago while watching Germany-Netherlands.Somebody knows how it started?

Hi rollmops (german?),
the riff of Seven Nation Army has become an almost "traditional" football chant, at least here in Dortmund! I think it was "born" back in 2006 during the wordl cup. Even my 4year old son runs through our garden, singing "deen, denn denn denn denn, deen, dé"!
