Penalty can't be given when player has his hands in natural positions (he doesn't make a move to intentionally touch the ball) and he has to less time to react and avoid contact.

Dunno how they do it. There are 72.675 participants. With 2 matches each day this means they have to check 145.350 predictions on result and score, and then add the points to each participant.

Some nice moments thus far, but no real fireworks yet. Spain not so good as expected, Italy better than (I) expected.

That Balotelli is a very funny guy.

The game is open: a typically Italian goal: 0-1.

Followed by a typically Spanish goal within about 1 minute: 1-1

All in all an entertaining, but not great match: 1-1. Italy surprisingly playing, Spain the better team though.

Entertaining indeed, and exciting. Both teams had the chance to score the winning goal in the last few minutes. I liked it.

Spain-Italy has been the most interesting match so far in my opinion.
Italy did much better than I expected,Spain was the better team in the end
while Italy had its chances as well.
Really entertaining.

I can agree with that. Italy wins even with a tie.

Already 2 goals after 20 minutes: Ireland-Croatia 1-1. Keep up the same scoring pace, please!

Ireland-Croatia 1-2. Though imo offside. The Croatians became stronger and stronger, without creating much chances.

Bad luck for Ireland. 2-1 was offside in the first position. Croatia the better team though.

Ireland seems without any chance to survive this group.

Zero points for me today. I totally underestimated Croatia. A strong team and not affraid to play tough. Spain and Italy will have to watch out for them
