Shut off the computer, go outside, and throw some burgers and hot dogs on the grill. You'll feel better.

If they do play out again, they're going to need some kind of guitar additive. If, as has been rumored, they stage a limited number of miniresidencies in major cities, I could see Beck, Clapton, and others (even Macca -- why not?!) as special guests each night.

Are you saying the Stones wouldn't benefit by adding Jeff Beck?

So you have no real opinion on Jeff Beck as a Rolling Stone?

I'm saying you would benefit by putting on the Indy 500, laying down on the couch, and taking a nap.

Worst idea in the world.

Jeff Beck is to the Rolling Stones what Freddy Mercury could have been for Motörhead.

You are right about one thing, the Indy 500 would definitely put me to sleep.
Didn't think you could come up with any legitimate reason why Jeff Beck wouldn't be a great addition to the Stones.

What are they gonna do? Fire Keith? No Keith, no Stones. Besides, it's a little late in the game to add a new official member, don't you think? That's why they never officially replaced Bill, because even in 1994, it was already too late to be adding a new official member.

No Richards, no Stones, I said that! I don't think it's too late, but I did ask others what their opinion is, so thanks. You may be right, it might be too late in the eyes of the ones that would make that decision. I can't see the world caving in for the Stones if they suddenly announced the hiring of Jeff Beck. I think it would be a great addition and it certainly wouldn't hurt them at the box office in any way.
