Out of Tears should be on that list. The slide solo is one of the greatest, if not the greatest, thing(s) hes ever recorded as a Rolling Stone.

While I agree that the song is lame, Woody's solos and fills are the only things worth paying attention too in this track.

Down in the Hole
Some Girls

The list was pretty lame. I misread the thread title; thought it said "top Ron Wood Songs". Now that would be an interesting list.

Everything's Turning to Gold should've perhaps gotten a mention.

yep.
I listened to it yesterday with earphones (excellent to catch the stereo effect) and his part is really good.

What a strange question. I've never really thought about it. Wood doesn't have an immediately recognizable sound, though I do hear that his playing is more astringent than Taylor's, less melodic. And with all the 'weaving' I'm often left wondering if it's him or Keith playing, especially early on before Keith's lead abilities had diminished.

I really liked his slide lead on Rough Justice. If the slinky, funky part on Hey Negrita is indeed Ron Wood, then yeah, I like that. I've always enjoyed his bass on Emotional Rescue, although, like Keith, and Mick (recently), they haven't played a decent bass line in decades. This is very difficult.
