Depending on where you live in the world, it might be the 24th of May already. I love this tune.

If I had to pick one favorite, this would be it.

This was the fuse that ignited the Stones to a whole other level.

This or Brown Sugar... Brown Sugar just edges it for me.

But there is no doubt it's magic, Charlie's slightly draggy drums (nice engineering on that sound) and that fantastic Keith bass and trebly guitar.

Mick's vocal is perfect Jagger.

MSG 69 live is great as well.

They never did it as much justice in the following years.

It's unqiue!

The recording/production is so odd ball, but yet so right!

A classic in the genre and one of my all time favorite Stones tunes.

The studio version is definitely in my top 5 songs of all times.

I still love the studio version as compared to the recent stripped down live ones. This is a powerful chord starter that just sets the song up that I miss in the last 30 years of the Rollong Stones live. When I play it in a band , it's like the studio version, as a song - it still rocks today!

This is the ultimate Stones song for me. I've liked just about every version they ever played, because to me it's one song they don't seem to ever "phone in."

Brown Sugar, Satisfaction, and Tumbling Dice are close seconds, of course. But if I didn't hear JJF at a show I would be disappointed.

I don't know why, but it just passed in Sweden...can't remember this song were on charts or often played on radio...but it was very appreciated as a live-number with Johnny Winter...a couple of years later...

Please correct me if you're Swede and in the right age for this....

I was driving home early Sunday morning through Bakersfield...
