I love this band but I saw them only once 2 years ago. It was one of my best concerts ever. Ian and Duffy still rocks. I hope they go in long tour.
New songs are good stuff imho.
Thanks.

Impressive album. Not the best song writing, but brilliantly playing and really well-produced, and that has been a while with this band, imo.

Got the new record, the double edition. Excellent packaging, some great songs. Easily one of their best LPs.

Been a fan for 25 years...great band, especially live. Whatever happened to Skipstone?

Listen to this by Blue Oyster Cult. If the Stones could still create songs like this , we would all be standing and cheering.

I know. Don't know anything about the Cult . not that interested in them to be honest. They really just sound like Black Sabbath.

I did like Blue Oyster Cult . . smiling smiley

the bonus tracks are the 4 studio songs the band released from 2010-2011 on their CAPSULE E.P.'s. you can find them on youtube.

the songs are really good though and had made me sad the cult said no new full length album ever again. fans then liked the songs so much the band said ok 1 more album but it won't include the CAPSULE songs except maybe as a bonus. low and behold they are a bonus

Sonic Temple is one hell of a record. I'd kinda lost touch with them since the 90's but might check out the new stuff. THanks for posting this.

How are the bonus songs?

The 4 tracks were released in the latter part of 2010 as 'capsules' - not EPs but two studio tracks, two live tracks and a video. It was their way of breaking the pattern of single/album/tour...etc.

They're great by the way. Embers is one of the best songs they've ever done period.
