It was the year 1976 when I visited The Rolling Stones my first time, in Bremen, Germany. I had seen much bands and live acts before and as a 25 year old guy I didn't want to miss The Rolling Stones after having missed The Beatles. And this tour in 1976 seemed to be The Rolling Stones last one, their "farewell-tour", I thought.
I wasn't a great fan of Mick etc. until May 1976. But I was on the way to regard them with curiosity. And then it happend: They got me by the balls. It was a fantastic act, so much power and fun, so much positiv vibrations I had never got in a concert before.
And that was really bad for my wallet. I started to buy some LP, books, videos, shirts and stickers, CDs, DVDs, boots, etc etc. I didn't miss any tour since 1976, and I had so much fun, alone and with other fans, too.
So I feel it's time to laud a big "Thank You" to "our boys",
Mick, Keef, Charlie, Ronnie, Mick T., Bill and all the other members of this greatest Rock 'N Roll Circus of the world and Brian in Rock 'N Roll Heaven:
Have fun with all the upcoming golden "50th" celebrations!
And please, Don't Stop!
I'm not a native english speaker and writer, so I hope to get a little help from all the other fans. Let this thread grow!
to The Rolling Stones, the greatest rock'n'roll band in the world!

in the evenings and in the mornings,
when we set out on our journeys and when we return home,
we shall speak of them
thanks and praises and all kinds of blessings on that handful of skinny English cats - for good
