You are right. Catherine O'Hara is still incredible, too. "A Mighty Wind" was recently in rotation on HBO, and if I was channel surfing whenever it was on I'd end up watching 20 or 30 minutes of it.
Wiig is one of those performers--like Dan Aykroyd--who seems a lot older than her actual age.
There's something genuine about her, and she seems like a very nice person.

Yesterday's episode was no different than the countless ones I've seen from this season or last season or two seasons ago. The show has always been funny...only people who are holding on to the old cast dismiss the show.

I will miss her because I think she really carried the show during her run. I've been watching SNL off and on since the first episode (with Billy Preston as musical guest, right off the TOTA '75! ) and I think she is possibly the funniest cast member ever, which is saying something because there have been quite a few greats over the years.
The farewell to her last night was a great, great moment. Very moving.

Must be missing the whole sexy thing. Maybe she is the sexiest girl on SNL but that's not saying much.
She's extremely average at best.

It's a matter of taste. Wiig isn't the hotsy totsy bootylishish slut type most men seem to go for these days. Wiig is off beat, unique, and exudes intelligence. Far sexier to me.

She's the cute ordinary girl. She looked good, relaxed and confident in those clips with MJ. There is something sexy with that. And the dress she wore in her "send off" skit really flattered her. She's no classical beauty though, not in any sense.
