Surely I can't be the first to point out what I think to be the obvious implication of these remarks, in context of what else we've heard - there of course is no tour in October and November of this year. Rather, that is when the band will get together and make sure they have it together in advance of their early 2013 gigs. If all goes well, in mid-late November they'll have 6-8 weeks of lead time to announce an arena tour/residency series (after a week or so of post-holiday final rehearsal) beginning on the deemed true 50th Anniversary in January.

Yes I noticed Ben and Alex have dates through to the winter, but no ABCD dates after the New York shows at beginning of July.
