Little Boy Blue & The Blue Boys Home Recordings a gift to the fans for 50 years of rock'n'roll

I don't know for you, but think it's time now to surface officialy these recordings.
It's now or never, how I would like to hear more than 39" of "You can't judge a book by the cover" and the original tapes of the other tracks that already have surfaced. Not the big deal, just the birth of a legend.

It will be a true gift for the fans.

I don't think Mick's vanity will allow him to release this stuff.

Maybe those things will surface now in some form. Now that it's generally agreed that the Stones are winding down, an Anthology seems inevitable. Maybe there'll be some clue on the documentary, or even a companion CD set. There's still the Bright Lights, Big City cuts like Stewed and Keefed and Diddley Daddy that are quite listenable.

There used to be about a half-dozen (or so) on YT a few months ago.
The one I just posted is the only one I can find now.

I wonder why the others disappeared. eye rolling smiley

Thanks to Midnrambler for the original bootleg and to Teagueraw for the remastering in the bottom on the same page.

Isn't a lot of those recordings on the bootleg "How Britain's Got The Blues"?

It's a great bootleg anyway.

I think that the quality of these recordings is not appropriate for an official release.

Check out Beatles Anthology 1, things like this can and do get released if there is the desire to do so. smiling smiley

Some of the songs on the Faces-box are rehearsals recorded with a shitty tape recorder. If it's good enough, everything can be released, imo smiling smiley

Yah, I'd think it'd be mighty uncomfortable for the lady with the faucet plugged up her butt.
