O/T 'BULA QUO!' - "It started with guitars..and ended with guns"
Rock bands making movies has a long and odd history; some astonishingly bad, some supremely good.
Bowie's "Man who Fell to Earth",the Stones' magnificent "Gimme Shelter" & arguably "One Plus One" being prime examples of rock bands' and their cinematic release dreams coming to very successful fruition.
For anyone who hasn't heard, the latest band to add silver screen shenanigans to their outout is British boogie-legends STATUS QUO!! (themselves promoting this year as their 50th Anniversary aswell; taking their origin from when a 13 year old Franic Rossi and Alan Lancaster played their first gig. Maybe '67 would be a more apt starting point for Quo)

'Bula Quo' is being greeted with some scepticism from even the hardest of the die hards; a 'comedy caper' romp set in Fiji with B-list Jon Lovitz &others joining the Quo
Tag-line: "It started with guitars...and ended with bullets"

This has the potential to be either surprisingly great or excruciatingly bad; no in between, just one extreme or another^
For anyone here in Ireland - The mighty QUO play the Wexford Strawberry Festival June 2nd!
