I think Hot Rocks is the reason you always hear the Ya-Ya's version of Midnight Rambler on the radio instead of the studio version. At least everywhere I've lived that's been the case. They never play any other Ya-Ya's tracks, so I'm guessing they probably have Hot Rocks. Which is the reason that most people I know (who are casual fans) have never heard the studio version until I play it for them. Not that it's a bad thing, it's a great version, and thanks to Hot Rocks the one that most people are familiar with.
