Let's get back to what Nugent is. Nuts. He's admited to liking underage girls

He AVOIDED the draft but wants to kill everyone not like him.

He's been known to be a big coke head condemns drug use.

How can we like his music when it comes from psychotic and hateful thoughts to everyone not like him?

Sort of like THESE hateful thoughts and acts?
1. Randy Rhodes - endorsed shooting Bush
2, Bill Maher wishing for the death of Dick Cheney
3. Keith Halloran- A New Hampshire Democratic candidate - wishing that Sarah Palin was on a plane that crashed and killed all on board.
4. Nathan Tabor - a Tea Party person - punched in the face by a Democrat.

BS. He is conservative and that is why most people here dislike him. We all know THAT!

Plus he hunts - OMG - he hunts! How terrible.

No, another right-wing warmonger macho-talker who avoided military service when he had the chance to serve. Same as Cheney, Gingrich and many others. I don't dislike him because he's a conservative, I dislike him because he's a blowhard and a hypocrite. As for the hunting, I'll like it much better when the animals are given an equal chance.

Animals rarely kill for the 'fun' of it and that would probably be the difference.

Doc
This thread is NOT about Ted Nugent's political opinions or about bow-hunting.

I just spend the last days listening to some of his albums :
Ted Nugent
Scream Dream
Cat Scratch fever
Double Live Gonzo

I hadn't listened to them for about 15 years, but I had some real good time rediscovering them.
Some fans here ?

Please read Doc's first line.

71Tele, so glad I read all of the posts just so I could get to yours! Perfectly stated. It seems to be more the truth these days that idiots like Nugent DO represent the far-right. You have to know that if the Secret Service-FBI paid a visit to this LUNATIC, it was serious shit he was spewing. Notice Nugent tried to back-track...it scared him shitless...big coward! Maybe they'll deport him. Bye Bye Teddy.

Well, I've said all I had to say on the subject - perhaps I said too much. But I appreciate the support. I was feeling kind of lonely. Thank you.

smileys with beer I also appreciated your calm and lucid, non-baiting commentary on this thread Tele.

Nope. Did not read on a blog. "Common knowledge" that the left wing press refuses to air. SO I guess it is NOT common knowledge if you get my point! Surprise surprise. Want to refute any of this?

Couple quotee by....?
"I mean, you got the first mainstream African-American who is articulate and bright and clean and a nice-looking guy. I mean, that's a storybook, man." referring to Barack Obama .

"You cannot go to a 7-11 or a Dunkin' Donuts unless you have a slight Indian accent.... I'm not joking."

I enjoy most of Ted's music, I own several of his albums and I have seen him perform live. There ain't no doubt the guy can play guitar and he puts on a high-energy show. In fact, he's played more than 6,000 gigs around the world over the past five decades. Ted, like his Michigan blood-brother Bob Seger, was once among the most popular artists in rock and will always be considered a superstar in the Midwest market.

What the hell has this got to do with Ted Nugent? Did he say this, or who are you quoting?

Most people don't realize his managers ripped him off blind. Despite five gold or multi-platinum albums & thousands of gigs Ted entered the '80s flat broke.
A lesser man would have quit. Ted went right back to work and earned another fortune.

What the hell do you call the ABKCO deal with the Stones? It's called, 'moving on'. For this he should get special acknowledgement?

Funny, that More Hot Rocks is commenting about Nugent liking little girls right here on a Stones site. Wyman and Mandy...ever heard the song Stray Cat Blues? My guess is he just disagrees with his politics...no offense though, just amusing, a little bit.
