I knew Steve played the Artful Dodger in Oliver! prior to his days in the Small Faces, (The career-spanning Tin Soldier box starts with an original cast recording of him singing "Consider Yourself!" ) but watching him here really shows how good an actor the boy was.

Pissed it all away staying drunk and coked up 24/7- but could have been as rich/well known/respected creatively as Pete Townshend or Ray Davies. He could always rock out, whether it was in a stadium or a pub. RIP.
