Thanks, PM. Were I Willie Nile I should have sued. Never a great song though, "She's so cold". Seems like it takes a woman interviewer to make Mick spill the guts!
I wonder if it was that part about sleeping with "19 to 40 women on a weekly basis" that rendered him his KBE? It probably was...

For what, using the same song title?? The song has no resemblance whatsoever...

Maye this is just me but I think during UNDERCOVER promo interviews Jagger was generally quite rude and aggressive (and maybe sometimes even surprisinly straight to the point). Not having much patience at all, or showing much caring (of the feelings of the person he speaks to or of his image or whatever) with his answers. It wasn't imitating "punk attitude" as with SOME GIRLS but coming out more 'naturally' (more 'from heart'). Was it the nature of the album, the tension withion the band or the insecurity of the future in the air or what was behind that?

Or is it just me?

You're not mixing up with the Primitive Cool promo-interviews here?

ah so now we got it straight from the horses mouth mick is 5 foot 10, although i think he is slightly shorter than that

One of the 'fibs' I was getting at. I seriously doubt he's 5'10 - and no way is he the same height as Jerry Hall. She's 6 feet tall.

I don't know if I'd call it a particularly good interview, but it was interesting. I do question how much of was coming out of MJ's mouth was true, and to a certain extent, I think that had to do with the 'directness' of the interviewer.

I agree with Doxa though, in that it would have been nice to see his expressions and mannerisms, as he communicates so effectively in a nonverbal manner.

Still, it was interesting to read, particularly almost 30 years later. Funny that even then he was considered an 'aging rock star'.

dunno but 5'10 seems right to me. Mick is the same height as Lennon/ McCartney and Bowie - who are 5'10,5 - 5'11

As for Jerry she stated it's 5'11 in her CV in model agency. It's hard to to compare their height when we do not know whether she is on high heels. I found a couple of pics where one can see their feet

One of the best interviews with a mega rock star I've read. 'Twas'nt impressed by his casual dissing of Diva, which is one of my fav films, but he redeemed himself for loving TDC; I'm a huge Greenaway fan.
The Face was a way cool mag back in those days, hence as someone else said the different approach.

Cheers,
SonicD

What has to be the SAME to sue is 1. The words, and/or 2. The melody. Mr. Nile could have the Stones playing their She's So Cold music behind his song and still the words and/or the melody of the vocal would have to be the same for a copywrite problem to exist. It's that simple. peace

Are you completely heterosexual these days?

No, definitely not, but I've slept with more women than men.

Is this a honest answer? If so, than it is the only time that he answers that directly.
'83 was a few years before AIDS and HIV came out.
