Nice cover pic! The area where the club is located is completely devoid of any atmosphere yet when you look at the photo you'd swear it's a magical place!

There was some atmosphere between and after shows on the night I attended (the addtional show on saturday). Louis Bertignac playing his then to-be-released album on his @#$%& and chatting with Richard Kolinka, a guy playing HTW on his telecaster on the boulevard... That was fun. I wonder which show(s) was/were recorded.

It was really cool watching people passing by in that pedestrian alley suddenly realizing that the guy playing the drums inside was Charlie.

I only attended to one show and it was broadcasted...I have a boot and the announcer is kinda annouying. Hope is not this one.

“Live In Paris” is their first album and was recorded over several nights in September 2010 at the Duc Des Lombards jazz club in Paris.

Unfortunately the mixing is bad, it seems. Ben's Stu-album suffers from the same problem.

Boogie 4 Stu is not perfect but it it is OK. For this type of music it does not matter that much.

Well, I want "space" in the sound and a feeling of separation between the instruments. It's strange that even jazz/blues was better recorded and mixed decades ago. I don't understand why it is so hard to make a good sounding record these days.
