Out of all the places, states, countries, I have a seen a show, Detroit in the hey day was the best rock and roll audience ever experienced. So many bands loved playing in Detroit and several classic live albums have been made there. It was a rock and roll town and a sad shadow of itself now. On the verge of a state take over (didn't go through yesterday), massive unemployment, at its heart, it still beats a rock and roll beat. It is a tough city. Detroit water baby.
