He seems like a very cool guy, even without the Stones appreciation. I recently saw a thing about the making of Silence Of The Lambs on Bio Channel. He seems like a very nice guy, so nice that it seems hard to believe he was at the helm on such a disturbing (albeit fantastic) film. And apparently some people attached to the project (most notably Jodi Foster) thought he might not be the man for the job either, as most of his previous work was comedy and music related.

My cousin worked with him on Swimming to Cambodia and said he was a very nice and honorable man. . . and very sane compared to Spalding Grey.
