Funny you should ask, I was looking that up yesterday and came up with nothing.

I'm away for the weekend on that particular weekend and in a panic realized I wouldn't be in town to check it out.

No Stones releases that I've heard of so far either. I've picked up a rereleased Brown Sugar last year, and 'several' Plundered My Soul the year before.

I also picked up several other interesting tidbits in the last couple of years...the John Lennon 'Bag' and Gram Parsons, Bruce Springsteen, Velvet Underground to name a few.

Record Store Day

There's some good stuff, I think...

Luther Dickinson - 10" vinyl of Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah/Beautiful Dreamer"/Nobody Knows the Trouble I've Seen/Peace in the Valley

The Civil Wars - cd Live at Amoeba, 45" New Suede Shoes / Girl I Love You

Bruce Springsteen - 45" Rocky Ground

Grace Potter & the Nocturnals - cd Live From The Legendary Sun Studio

Is this a link to last year's? I see Brown Sugar listed again for the UK releases...that can't be right can it?

It's odd though that Brown Sugar is going to be sold again...must be a misprint.

You'd think they'd take the occasion to release a second single from Some Girls Deluxe, or at least a different catalogue release.

What would have been UNBELIEVABLE would have been to get the recent Brussels 'download only' release on Vinyl. I would have lined up overnight for that!

There's a Joey Ramone 7" but I think b oth songs are on the upcoming "new" album and a Bowie 7" pic disc with Starman (orig. version) on the A and the TOTP mix on the B, thinking of picking that one up.

Heard there's gonna be a Knack live EP. And before you laugh, the Knack was a hell of a band in their genre. Amazing players by the way. And don't forget their drummer Bruce Gary was the drummer with Jack Bruce and Mick Taylor....

The Kinks are releasing some of their earlier albums on limited addition colored vinyl.

"There's a guy in my block, he lives for rock he plays records day and night. And when he feels down, he puts some
rock 'n' roll on and it makes him feel alright. And when he feels the world is closing in he turns his stereo way up high.
He just spends his life, living in a rock 'n' roll fantasy."
