Another one from Paris from the same DVD

I will upload the best parts on YT little by little, as it's worthy.
Useless for the start of the show as the guy for sure has got some troubles
to use his camera, some heads and darkness here and there in front of him angry smiley the movin' crowd also which doesn't make the thing so easy to do, to sum up we got a very shaky video for the very first tracks.
In the middle of Happy, near the end, it's another very low-fi footage which has been dubbed over the other one to allow us to get the whole show, but useless too to upload it as it's really too low.
Anyway thanks to the original recorder and to Sssoul once again winking smiley
It's so cool to see a video of a show where indeed we were hot smiley

I couln't help to upload this one even if the recorder should have wondered
during 30' what the @#$%& he came here with his camera (from 15' to 45'),
think he was lookin' for Sarah Dash but failed, one of the highlight of the show, in 1992, it was a real very good version and still is, Keith's own touch.

I have to check once again on my film if there's not so other ones, but I was in the crowd, so most of the rest is blur and can't be used If I recall well...
But feel free to use one of them if you want , my pleasure Falo .

"I Could Have Stood You Up" is quite unique in Keith's discography as it's to me
his kind of tribute to the rock'n'roll pioneers and it ain't bad at all.

beautiful shots - thank you Honest Man!

and not to seem too obsessed with that Shoe Incient ... if you have time to upload the whole Time Is On My Side
that would be sweet. it just really moves me that of all the people on that stage and in the wings,
Keith is the one who noticed Sarah's plight, understood and leapt to the rescue - and even knew what he had to do!
i reckon his upbringing among women is showing there - Doris, her six sisters and Keith's own ladies and daughters have trained him well!

like no other, baby - like no other can

Is this a photo of Winos era?

I made my company's leaflet around 1994 using this photo.
Ad agency proposed some photos such as McCartney and U2.
I chose this one. I had everyone roll over and play dead.grinning smiley

Watching those Winos clips and seeing relaxed, concentrated, music-oriented Keith Richards I seriously think that The Stones should have called it quits at least after URBAN JNGLE tour. That is so much better and charming than the posing Keef of the Stones shows acting his Captain Kidd to Peter Pan (credits to 71Tele) and playing the same old songs and riffs again and again. And I would say the same argument for Jagger as well if we look his solo concerts. They both seem to enjoy much more and being affected by the muse. Both of them seem to have artistically lost so much inside the golden cage of of The Rolling Stones, and in trying to stand each other's ego.

But I guess the cruel business side of the things 'forced' them to stuck them together. They didn't have afford to go solo, as absurd as it might sound. But it is clear that especially Keith should needed to get used to quite different level of success and circles if he would have continued as a solo artist. Maybe that kind of 'cult' name wouldn't have been enough for him, after being used to a kind of superstar league for ages.

Besides - sorry to bring a bit negative tone to such a positive thread - I think going solo (which equals fronting the Winos) would have been easier for Keith in getting old and living in according to his blues man analogue. He could have develop his act to any direction: drop the guitar altogether if it is not good for his fingers, to play the piano instead, or sit there and have a sig in hand and sing ballads - whatever. We would have accepted it in any case, and love it! But maintaining the rather limited and defined role of Keith Richards within The Rolling Stones has turned to be years and tours ago rather awkward business: it is so much just 'keeping up appearances' and most of us have painfully discovered the terrible state of affairs in reality. There is only ruins of the Keith Richards left that once musically ruled that band.

And may I speculate some more in the scenario I just created: he could have written LIFE already in 1992 (at the time Wyman wrote STONE ALONE), And it would have been the same damn book, but more point in its 'fvck Mick Jagger" nature. He could have explained "yeah, we tried to make this reunion - STEEL WHEELS, record, tour - but shit, we got alot of money,´but it was just all @#$%& theatre. I just can't get along with that egomania perfectionist who wants to rule everything. I am not so eager for money. So fvck him! I'll go on my own now on."grinning smiley

I love Keith and the Winos, but also wish that the 2 studio albums were remastered with extra tracks, or in deluxe format with a second disc.
