Nice shot Sway! Looking at the bike and knowing Mick would be riding the latest and greatest is certainly a clue. His haircut being the other clue. peace

At first it looked like a young Mick, but the bike, pants, shoes....look like 81 - when Mick went on his health kick/regimen.

No way! Mick has the cardio edge on Keith in any extended physical activity.

@claudine,your photo is great ! Where do you live ? I had never seen this "ad" before .

@deltics & Rockee :
Monty= Monty Young

<<When Monty Young opened his new bike shop in central London just after the Second World War...With such a rich history, Condor naturally has become somewhat ingrained in the local culture. As such, one of the bikes on display at this year's London Cycle Show had 'Mick Jagger' printed on the top tube, but Young wanted to play down the fact that the lead singer of the Rolling Stones rode a Condor bike. "He very kindly loaned us his bike for the show. We built it for him in the seventies and it is has now been renovated. <<

the bicycle manufacturer has replied:
"This is an early 1970s Condor Baracchi (between 1970 and 72)."
i was hoping for more specifics than that - i'll try giving them that link Ms SwayStones found about the bicycle show
to see if that helps them locate more detail

i'm not that much of a Mick spotter, especially in offstage shots, but with this date for the bicycle
until futher notice i'd say the photo looks 70/71-ish

I think it's mid to late 70s. Maybe 1976 or so?

Re: Mick riding a bike

the shot was taken for the bicycle company, and i reckon they had it taken and signed when the bike was new
but they could be wrong about the date of the model - maybe Mick ordered a retro look :E

oh and: the photographer wrote back just to say the Condor people should know
