Since there is a current thread title listing Mick with "her" children, thought that this thread should be recycled, with Keith's mistaken identity, etc.

The Keith Richards One Woman Show

March 1 - 7, 2012

That screech of brakes you hear is The Keith Richards One Woman Show careening off the QEW from St. Catharines and pulling up at Hamilton’s Artword Artbar on Colborne St. And leaping out and setting up at Ron and Judith’s hippest joint in the James North popular ghetto are Deanna Jones and Kevin Richardson, hot and eager from a whirlwind four–day rollick through southern Ontario. Jones is a one–woman powerhouse who plays a sack full of characters, including Anita Pallenburg, Gram Parsons and Mick Jagger, to name a few. With collaborator and Stones enthusiast Richardson (aka Attic Daddy), they’ll be taking their Hamilton audience on a fantasy trip of rock’n’roll and pure heart as they explore the image, the excess, and the inspiring endurance of the legendary co–founder of the Rolling Stones, Mr. Keith Richards.
It’s a 2012 bar tour that’s taking them up the QEW from St. Catharines, over the 403 and 401 to APK Live in London, back to the eBar in Guelph, down Highway 6 to Artword Artbar here in Hamilton. This is an amazing revival of the 2010 show that played to sold–out audiences in St. Kitts, at FIXT POINT’s studios in Toronto’s Parkdale area, then ripped through Niagara on a five–day bar tour in August 2011. At it again to heat up the winter roads this year, this rolling stone is gathering no moss. It winds up at El Mocambo in Toronto on Sunday, March 4. Huge excitement that Hamilton is on this amazing itinerary. Huge.
The show is a production of Suitcase in Point Theatre Company. It’s the original creation of Deanna Jones and Cole Lewis, design and lighting by Chris Penney, with an original live musical score by Kevin Richardson that invokes the world of the Stones and in particular, the raw sounds of Richards. Of Jones, Dave Clark of The Woodchoppers Association says “(she)works her acting charms like a voodoo priestess...she brings to life the mystery, excitement and chaos of the oft sordid history of the Stones with joyful abandon...nothing short of brilliant.”
In Mooney on Theatre, Mira Saraf saw the performance as “incredibly raw both physically and emotionally ... it was a dynamic and high–energy performance by Jones and Richardson.”
Get down to Colborne St. and pack the Artword Artbar on March 2, Friday. The show starts at 8pm. Take advantage of the $12 advance ticket offer and call (905)543–8512 or (905)912-9083. You could be the smart ones, sure of a spot in the venue, eh? V
