O/T Acoustic Guitar Strings

I would like some advice from those of you who twand the old acoustic...I've used Elixir strings for many years and always been happy with them and amazed at how long they keep their tone and also how long you get from them before they snap. I'm just in the process of ordering some more and wondered if I should try a different type...I've used Martin's, Ernie Ball and the usual makes but never found them comparable to the Elixir. So I guess what I'm asking is, are there any other hidden gems out there? I will be putting them on Taylor 410-Ce.

Many thanks

Always Elixar for me on acoustic.

The others go dull and "manky" too quickly.

If you were professional and had lots of money then that's a different story, fresh non-coated every night strung by your guitar tec, not sure which I'd choose though.

Nice guitar mice.
I use a Taylor 710 dreadnought.

Red Martins every 4 weeks for me.
On the telecaster I still use d'addario

Black Diamond strings - The best you can get.

Thank you Munich...I love my Taylor! Would have preferred a Martin but couldn't afford one so the 410-Ce was next choice down and like all good acoustics it has matured over the 6 years I've had it, sounds much more woody than when I first bought it.

Black Diamond strings - I've never heard of them Roadster, why do you rate them?
