An unimportant side remark: Purple seems to be his favourite colour.

Isn't it midnight blue (that he usually wears, but not on the night in question because L'Wren was wearing it)? L'Wren favors that colour for him. He wears it very well indeed.

When I saw this thread title, I thought, "Bless his heart, he's really embracing Black History month."

Side note: I don't recall ever seeing Sir Mick in jeans before, certainly not roomy mom jeans.

What's about these panties?
I remember how Bebe Buell wrote in her book that Mick always wanted to wear her underwear but his basket was too big for her panties

Yeah, he wore women's underwear on the 75 tour because they were bigger in the front...ha ha.

Fashion Week, Night 8
New York Fashion Week ended with a flurry of parties that drew big names, some not commonly associated with fashion.
At the Gramercy Park Hotel, L’Wren Scott, right, hosted an intimate dinner to celebrate her latest collection. She was joined by her longtime boyfriend, Mick Jagger, center, and Terry Richardson, left, among others.
During dinner, Mr. Jagger gave a warm toast that brought smiles. “It was a step up from her last collections,” he joked.
It was a sharply dressed crowd, but few rivaled Daphne Guinness and her gold-and-black dinner ensemble.
Ms. Scott, who hosted two long tables of friends, editors and retailers, found a moment alone with Mr. Jagger.
“I haven’t been the easiest these past few weeks,” Ms. Scott said with a laugh.

There're some great pics, can't post it here

time for mick to move on? and not necessarily with someone younger?

hmm.

i don't think that's something i'm supposed to speculate on.
