Weber, cocaine and Nellcote

No sooner had the heavy wooden doors to the mansion closed than Jake’s t-shirt was removed, revealing a package wrapped in plastic taped firmly to the boy’s bare stomach.
For Jake and Charley arrived at the villa with a kilo of cocaine taped under their shirts.
The drug, carried in this way through airport customs all the way from Ireland, was to be a gift for the festivities at Villa Nellcote.

No biggie, redhotcarpet just had to go that few smart arse steps too far for me. I'll just refrain from starting lil tribute photo threads etc here and simply stick to typed words.

Tis not a cry for attention or anything silly like that, just had enough of certain things and this is what I feel I need to do to stop me being irritated further.

thumbs up

So what do you think would have come out of a coproduced instrumental record as an off-Stones project in 1966? Keith played some great acoustic guitar in 1966 (later too of course), Brian on the dulcimer or some other instrument. To me this is a record that could have been something. I think Mick is the weak link during those years or really the way he sang, with some nice exceptions of course: She Smiled Sweetly (perfect music, perfect vocals), Back Street Girl. I am waiting, Sittin on a fence, Lady Jane could have been better without vocals.

Beach Boys and Beatles had their little competition and I think Aftermath/Buttons/Flowers are great in many ways but I like to add a Degree of murder.

Do you know who is the photographer?

Jake "Brian" Weber
During the shooting of JJF?

... i don't think Redhotcarpet meant that as an answer to SwayStones's question.
my guess would be that Michael Cooper took the photos SwayStones posted, but i'm only guessing

I hadn't read that thread until now so I don't know neither the ins & outs ,nor why His Majesty had deleted his posts -I always enjoy reading your posts ,His Majesty ,because they are always interesting.
Anyway, I would agree with the following quote <<He -Brian- was maybe - just speculating here - a narcissist, borderline or maybe bi polar with a drug problem and huge insecurity. At the same time he was being manouvered out of the band and had to deal with Mick Jagger.

I founded some photos from Anita and Brian;they might have been posted before but I don't think I ever saw them .The lookalike is amazing :
(no credits ,sorry .

These were taken in Munich, Germany circa November 1966, same session as the nazi uniform photos.

I'll look and see if I have the photographers name noted, but best I can recall is some off handed credit to a "publicity phographer in Munich".

This was taken by Bent Rej on September 14, 1965 in Munich.
Rej says that he was walking from the auditorium after a concert at the Circus Krone-Bau towards the back stage area when a girl asked him if he could take her to meet the Stones. He says "she was very pretty and so I had no hesitation - it was part of my job, when she got back stage it was Brian who took over".
This could be one of the first pictures of Brian and Anita together.

Yes, probably one of the first photos, but not the first time they had met. It seems they had met before via Donald Cammell or some such person.

My question : " do you know was the photographer is ?" was releted to the 3 pics I posted from Brian & Anita looking alike .
