Excellent! Saw them at the Monsters of Rock tour in 1984 in Europe.
And I´ve seen DLR solo after that, but always been longing to see the classic formation again, and this is pretty damn close, so any euro dates, I´ll be there.

Based on many rave reviews and great ticket sales you can probably expect to get some dates over there.... if Dave and Eddie can stay on good terms.... . I am not happy with Wolfgang taking over for Michael Anthony, but I am thrilled listening/watching videos of Eddie sounding PERFECT on those great old classic Van Halen riffs.... they bring back good memories.

There is something about singrs using wireless headset mikes that looks "off" to me, I understand all the blah blah.... but still it looks weird.

Nice review Kurt... Total agreement on the headset hatred... Although it makes for some fun moments when you can clearly see the artist either singing out of the side of their mouth or reaching up to hold it. Maybe if the scarves proove to cumbersome for Steven Tyler, he could get some fish hooks, etc. like Keith wears in his hair.

I recall Eddie talking about the use of keyboard backing tracks on songs like Jump and Right Now live. He said The Who used them on Baba OReilly and WGFAgain so why couldn't they?
Looking at Youtube vids, it looks like Eddie is healthy, sober and at top form. Looking forward to them coming to Vancouver.

Good to see DLR is using a regular microphone again! Also, nice to see that they're mixing up their setlist a bit, unlike the 2007 tour where it was the same setlist everynight!
