hip-hop rocks. and it's fun, too...
Don't get me wrong, it's not a genre that I listen to all the time, but every now and then I hear a track that makes me think... WOW! Musical taste is subjective and IMO, there is brilliance to be found in every type. Whether it be rock, classical, or hip-hop. Kanye West is a dope, though.Quote

Aww, poor Stones fans can't handle the sight of seeing a thread about a style of music they don't like and therefore ask to have it banned. morons.
Apart from the acts already mentioned, I'll add Wu-Tang Clan to the mix. and Snoop Doggy Dogg (his early stuff). and I'm not afraid to admit that I like Kayne West.
good to know that many stones fans are so open minded when it comes to music.Quote

Why would this topic have to be banned? Are we not grown ass men and women who can talk about whatever we like? The Stones are an all inclusive act, incorporating different strands of pop music into their base sound for 49 years. What? Are we only supposed to listen to Beggars Banquet through Exile?
AMEN. And "treaclefingers"....yes my Cowboys just lost another heartbreaker....and quit taking up for the dictator!!

That's odd, because IMO one of the more exciting things about rap/hip hop ARE the backing tracks.Quote

While your at it, check out a group called "Us3" (Hand on the Torch is the album I've got)... They started their songs with a jazz base and added rappers to it. I don't like much rap/hip-hop because the music/backing tracks can be so boring a lot of the time, but, at least on the above mentioned album, the music is actually pretty good.
Peace,
