Awesome it was. Macca announces (this is when he comes back for the encore) that he has a guest tonight. He then goes on to say "so we're now going to be joined onstage by a Rolling Stone, will you please welcome Ronnie Wood" ? They play GET BACK, great solo by Ron. Wish I'd have been in the front row in front of the stage, it's not every day you see a Beatle and a Stone taking a bow together, what a photo that would have been ? A real treat it was anyway. It was indeed awesome. A hugely unexpected and rewarding surprise. Macca did a great show, including three firsts for the UK - The Word, The Night Before and Come and Get It - and Ronnie was the icing on the cake plus big cherry on top. Hope someone caught a video of Get Back or at the very least a photo of the bow with Macca. We got very lucky tonight.

Just arrived at home from the o2, so happy to have been there tonight! Ronnie played great indeed and added some extra spice to Macca's very entertaining and uplifting show.It was a fantastic evening with a very special highlight.

Wow, I wish I could have been there! Sounds like Ronnie's in top form honing his guitar skills in preparation for the Stones 2012, 50th anniversary tour. I know its an extreme long shot but I wonder if Paul will make a surprise guest appearance during one of the Stones upcoming 2012 gigs...

What a wonderful surprise. Ronnie showed up at Rod Stewart's otherwise pedestrian show at Hyde Park this summer, and it saved the evening for me.
