This is simply amazing! No other way to put it! Now to find out which songs are exactly from which shows.

Just about everything here comes from the 2nd show; as somebody pointed out. 2-3 songs or so comes from the 1st show....and that's all
So - we get the famous - "weeping Taylor guitar intro" on Gimme Shelter now for the 1st time in great quality. Almost sounds like a steel guitar...absolutely fantastic afternoon for me, this one. Now I wonder what the next show will be...!

I think what you hear is actually Billy Preston on his synth!

F''k it you are right! ALways thought it was a combination of both of them; as we only had it in this muddy quality - but now.....as it's crystal clear quality; yes it's Billy Preston!
Would be cool if Taylor could have played that, though!

Fantastic to hear Heartbreaker here - even though the energy was greater in London. Great playing especially from Taylor.

Wasn't Jagger saying "this one is called Doo Doop Doo Doo" before Heartbreaker on the bootleg? It strangely disappeared on the new MP3 version.

It's probably because the one on the common bootleg is from London, while this newly released one is most likely from Brussels 2nd show (previously not circulating in soundboard quality).

They didn't play Heartbreaker after Glascow.

Mathijs

No that's not really correct, Mathijs; they did Heartbreaker in Hamburg, Copenhagen and Rotterdam. At least those places comes to mind, at once - as "late Heartbreaker shows". Maybe even more shows....let me check

You're right, they played it off and on. Rotterdam October 14 for example, first show they played it, second show not. Neve thought they did the same in Brussels.

I always thought they interchanged playing either Heartbreaker OR Dancing with Mr D
on the 73 European Tour, never BOTH songs at the same show... I could be wrong... this IS VERY EXCITING!!

That's almost true. After the first 2 weeks of the tour, they only did ONE of them. But before that...they often did both.

Heartbreaker was more rare, that's true. But when they did it; they didn't do Mr D. That's why the 1973 are referred to as a MrD-show or a Heartbreaker-show.

Errr...no,I realized fortunately early enough that it is not available outside U.S yet...
Even an offered free download of whatever content doesn´t work...

No, this is not the case, shortfatfanny. It's absolutely available. At least for me....in norway.
I used this link: [www.stonesarchivestore.com]
....paid 9 dollars, and am 95% up to FLAC heaven

That link says :

Listen again. There can't be any differences between Mathijs and mine downloads, than yours. Unless you got the MP3 version or something.

I literally got chills listening to Gimme Shelter...wonderful interplay and great climax. I believe this is one of the "newer" tracks from the earlier show but it was really special to hear it.

Does anyone else feel that this all just one big dream?
