This thread along with the news by Keith started Nov. 9th. I simply cannot believe that nothing leaks thru the cracks of a doorway if the Stones would have gathered sometime to jam for some days.
Meanwhile they will be all somewhere over the Rainbow in a warm climate to enjoy the season along the beach with a glass of whatever ....

Something did leak thru the cracks. You have an idea of who was there and who wasn't and an idea of where it was held and when. Consider the fact that the Stones played a gig in London in February 1986 with A-list guests onstage and in the audience and not a single bootleg leaked of the event. It happens.

That said, if it makes you feel better to believe that it's all an elaborate Christmas prank by Gazza who bizarrely craves attention from IORRians, go right ahead, but that's not the Matt Clifford I know.

The session took place from December 6th to the 8th. What happened in the month before that is irrelevant.

The amount of Stones studio sessions (of any description) where material has been 'leaked' since 1995 is pretty much negligible.

The only exception being the rough mixes of the ABB album that I circulated after someone pinched a copy from Sterling Sound studios and put mp3's of them on soulseek, oblivious to the fact that he was the only person who had them.

Most studio material that gets leaked takes years, sometimes decades, to filter out (the Steel Wheels sessions - leaked in August 2006 - being an example)

Their security is pretty tight, and for good reason. Especially for a session which was a secret. Its laughable to assume that there's going to be detailed info and/or recordings of a jam session just 10 days after it finished.

About a quarter of the shows on the last tour - many of which took place in stadiums before tens of thousands of people - have never circulated.

And there are several large scale shows in the last 20-40 years where even the setlist isn't confirmed.

Presumably they never took place either....
