How many times have you heard a song on the radio, not knowing what the singer looks like, and then, when you do see what he looks like, you think to yourself, "That's not at all the way I pictured him". For instance, the first time I heard John Kay's voice, I pictured a big, burly, bearded, biker dude.

This is the opposite situation as the Len Barry record. It never occurred to me that the singer was anything other than a fairly soulful white dude. Somehow, I completely missed the caribbean accent.
