With Mick Jagger's new band and Keith Richard's autobiography, the Rolling Stones barely have time for new projects together.

But the ageing rockers made a rare appearance together yesterday, sparking rumours a new tour or album was in the pipeline.

Frontman Mick, 68, guitarists Keith, 67, and Ronnie Wood, 64, and drummer Charlie Watts, 70, were spotted leaving an office in London.

And Charlie is holding a little book. Does anybody recognize it?

Is this for real ? Looking at the pictures they are leaving through different doors. Are they really leaving the same office ?

Yes! Take a look at the middle picture and you can see both sets of doors.

Keith was expecting a chilly reception so he bought him a sweater...

And Keith's had a facial.

Charlie has his notebook with some confidential scribblings we would all love to see.Looking good at the moment but it's gonna be wait and see time for a while I reckon'. Just had a thought though that Charlie is the only Stone smiling,and he dislikes touring on a big scale .Maybe it will be a small tour by The Stones standards.Gotta live in hope anyway.

Body language: Mick delivered a couple of left jabs followed by a knockout right hook which left Ron in awe and amused Charlie no end before agreeing to make an album after playing the demos he'd brought along and also agreed a follow up tour, all things considered and squared up Mick was well pleased and smug as hell.....Keith is "What'd I say ?"

Or: No tour, no album..."just thought I'd let you hear Superheavy II, always knew you'd want to...."......Charlie's well pleased he doesn't have to go out again, Ron's slightly shocked he doesn't have to play go-between between these two prima donnas no more....but is now at a loose end despite the relief...............Keith is "What'd I say ?"

I was hoping to read that Mick and Keith had settled their differences, but I didnt think Mick would go to THAT extreme!

Think the 'only one smiling' theory based on one pic is a bit over-analytical!

Without a doubt the first positive indication that they have at least discussed the possibility together.

The 'only one smiling' thing just occurred to me after I had first posted,but I'm sure it's totally unfounded.Sincerely hope so anyway.

And is that one of Lena's scarves Keith is wearing?

Either it's tax return time or perhaps getting together to approve artwork for forthcoming batch of retro releases - Some Girls, Texas 78 DVD and Ed Sullivan DVD.

Great news anyway.

maybe they talked about new official dvd - fort worth 1978 ? and activities along new edition....
or this is too "small" subject for meeting ?
