I call these my 'Empty Scrawls'.

Let It Bleed Maroon Open Decca - Australian. In and of itself, probably not that rare...except I have Mick Taylor's autograph across the cover:

Get Yer YA-YA's Out...white label boxed DECCA (for export market/Germany? I've seen it posted on EBAY as a promo label, but I doubt that). Somewhat rare, but made rarer again by Mick Taylor's autograph:

Both albums fairly minty condition, both purchased on EBAY from different sellers at different times.

Not sure if the autographs are real of course, but I believe they are.

I always heart that this white label was pressed for export to Scandinavia. Autographs looks real.

My copy of the withdrawn 45 of Stoned/I wanna be your man.
Same as Andreas his copy. There are 3 variations of this promo copy. I wonder how much promo copy's are pressed.

Beautiful...is the all white one with the London script the rarest? I got that impression from a recent EBAY listing.

Yes, the all white one with the London script the rarest. Sold last week for more than $800.

wow...love the exact release date. I was two weeks old!

What is that taped on serial number? Is that from a library or something?

Nice one Stefaan...I guess that trumps my Run Rudolph Run promo!

Interesting, isn`t the title actually Run Rudolph Run, and not Run Run Rudolph?

Isn`t that Mick`s handwriting?

Run Run Rudolph is misspelled, not the actually title. The original performer is Chuck Berry in 1958.
Don't think it's Micks handwriting.

I love these Age d'Or series.
These 25 singles were both issued in France AND Belgium.
Labels variations exist in both countries, and I am curious of such details if some are willing to talk.
Best,

These are certainly interesting...were they a 'one time' release, or were they offered over a long period of time? How rare are they?

I've collected any of them, see them on EBAY but haven't bothered...this discussion is piquing my curiousity though.

They look like early 70's releases...is that correct?

This is the real English "Get Yer Ya-Ya's Out!" export disc for Germany - note the German order number and the GEMA imprint.

Yes, L'Age D'Or 19 LP vinyl set was issued circa 1972.

I may be incorrect but I thought my White label copy had GEMA as well, but I will check.

Thanks for the hint - you're right, the white label has the same BIEM/NCB & GEMA signs. But the order number is the British one (SKL 5065 instead of the SLK 16.670P above). Btw my blue label has the same imprints so it seems that the GEMA-sign was on every British GYYYO disc. I tend to believe that only the one with the German order number was produced specifically for the German market while all other releases were sold in England and other countries as well. I remember that I bought my (new, not 2nd hand) blue label in a record store in Vienna. As soon as a record on German DECCA was OOP the British ones got sold here. It was the same with No Stone Unturned and Stone Age - at least as far as I remember.

The Age D'Or series were issued in France circa 1973-1975;
25 singles + 19 LPs;
Same in Belgium.
LPs only in ...Greece too!
As far as rarity, the latest volumes are a rarer.
Vol.8 Satisfaction for the 7" is the most common.
Once common, these are hard to find now, but especially in top shape.
Again, variations on labels exist for all singles, whether FR or BEL.. who has the whole lot and would like to answer some questions about? You can email privately.

L'Age D'Or singles were all issued in October to December of 1973. No reprints have been issued as far as I know. 25 singles in total.
The LP's came in three sets. vol 1 - 11 came out in October of 1973. The next set from vol 12 - 18 was issued in 1974 or -75 and the last vol 19 came in 1976

I usually collect only UK pressed stuff but this set is rather nice so I had to get it. The Lp's have been with me for a long time but the singles set came into my collection just a few months back. I got lucky with that one. I found the complete set on an auction in Sweden and the seller had bought them as new in the mid 70's. He had only listened to the set a few times through the years so the set is in near mint condition

My copies which are pictured in this thread were bought over a five + year period , most were bought one at a time . The hardest one that I had finding was # 4 , Around And Around / It's All Over Now . The most expensive one was # 1 Come On / I Wanna Be Your Man . I most likely overpaid for the set buying in this manner . Shipping costs are killer sometimes . My best estimate is that I spent a minimum of $ 450.00 for the entire 25 piece collection . And I may have spent as much as $ 750.00 . I prefer not to think about it sometimes . There is a lot of money tied up in this room .

And sadly, none of the London discs appear to be FFRR or at least 'unboxed London script' lettering.

I would've thought Bill had more clout than that....Mick and Keith probably cornered the market on those gold disc versions.
