Cheap trick -- "Surrender", "I Want You To Want Me", "Dream Police", "The Flame". Not to mention several good selling albums.

Just love this song. It's nice to hear another language than English once in a while.

Here is another favourite. French is just a beatiful language at the singer, France Gall, is beautiful too! This song just makes me happy!

Charlie Watts got his drumming style from this American group.

Yep. And Neil Young comes very close to meeting the criteria. Heart Of Gold, which hit #1, is his only Top 30 single. He's had two others that barely cracked the Top 40. Here's a few rock and roll heavyweights who do qualify as true one-hit wonders.

Walk On The Wild Side peaked at #16. It's Lou's only single to make it onto the Hot 100. The Velvet Underground never placed a single on the charts. Not even Rock And Roll or Sweet Jane.

"Frederick" (which barely charted) is the better record, but this is the one that was her only hit.

Yep. Peaked at #9. Their second highest charting single, "Truckin'", only made it to #64.

Thanks Bingo! I prefer the older version of France Gall though and Barbara Carlotti wasn't really my cup of tea. Thanks for the effort anyway.

These guys are perhaps the ultimate example of a one-hit wonder. For six weeks in the summer of '69, this was the #1 record in America. It's their only single ever to make it onto the Hot 100.

One of the strangest hit records of all time. Children's voices, live recordings of assassinations and funerals, and the music of Burt Bacharach. #8 on the charts, August 14, 1971.

If you should ever get suicidal, just listen to this song, and this will help you get through it.

I remember this one. Great record. Thanks for reminding me.

Billboard #3, August 13, 1966. This clip includes the rare B-side, which is the A-side, recorded in reverse. Check out the B-side's label (shown at 2:05), a mirror image of the A-side label. Even the Warner Brothers WB logo is reversed!

I have that single, tatters, here it is, complete with reverse label although not sure why they left the 45RPM the right way around! -
