It's not really 44 page of SuperHeavy though. There's a sizable amount of promoting Damian, Joss, Dave, and sometimes A.R. and odd moments of anger directed at Mick for sleeping with Anita.

Unfortunately NC has sort of adopted this thread and made it his own.

NC is obviously the same person as the other poster (forget their handle at the moment), who 'hijacked' the original Superheavy thread.

Proudmary started this thread as an alternative to that original one, as memory serves, because it had strayed so far off topic.

Admittedly a scenario can be concocted wherein the current psychodrama
between the members of SuperHeavy is resolved with results highly
favorable to all. However such a scenario clearly falls within the realm
of cock-eyed optimism. So for now at least we'll stick with our own, both
slightly more realistic and much more doomtastic, screenplay...

Tweet from Dave: Dave Stewart and Joss Stone Performing Live at Mama Stones this Thursday.

Another tweet from Joss's Indonesian fans say this performance is in connection
with the release of Joss's LP2. Can't find confirmation of that. Her LP1 was
released two months ago, and her "Best of" is being released this week.

Dave Stewart makes them in his spare time. Him and Joss and AR are still really into
the whole SH thing, with Mick and Damian for different reasons apparently not so keen...

So, to review:

Scenario 1: Over and Done With
Proponent: William Patrick Maynard
Details: Considered self-evident
Current Probability: 97% (But remember, WPM is the guy who considers news
stories about members of SuperHeavy off-topic in the SuperHeavy thread and
who follows NoComment around like a puppy for God knows what reason.
You sure its not Wilma Patricia, dude?)

Scenario 2: Continuing and Huge, even without whats-his-face
Proponent: NoComment
Details: Under discussion
Current Probability: 2%

Scenario 3: Continuing and Even Huger, thanks to Mick Jagger
Proponent: NoComment
Details: Confidential
Current Probability: 1%

Place your bets, people.

Petition Rocky Dijon to have NoComment banned and to have NoComment's
posts removed. That's the proven method.

proudmary, are you saying you too think a news article about Joss and
Dave appearing together in England on thursday is off-topic and should
be forbidden from this thread? because if you do, we will no longer
post any such items.

Come on, nocomment. You have every right to write here. Just because someone starts a thread it doesn't mean that they can call the shots. There is always someone who will complain but don't let that stop you. I'll vote for you!

And I also agree that NC should continue to post...I just think he's done a fair amount of unnecessary spewing, which has the opposite effect of what he wants.

I think people just 'tune out' because there is a lot of drivel in amongst his otherwise relevant observations.

For instance, NC is constantly on MJ, for not being 'behind' promoting SH. Why does he actually believe this, what specific reasons can he give? Without something concrete, he just sounds like an MJ basher.

Re: SuperHeavy

He's just pulling proudmary's leg. He'll post tons, like he always did, whatever nickname he's using.

And he has every right to, imo.

NoComment, I've said plenty of times I like most of your posts. You're often entertaining and best of all you sometimes find informative articles that I would otherwise never see.

This is a Jagger project so I'm interested and likely to read related posts and make comments. I've never said SuperHeavy is crap. I like half the album enough to listen to it regularly.

I yanked your chain for promoting the other members' work since it isn't Stones-related. So what? I'm not the moderator. I gave my opinion. I'd do the same for someone promoting Steve Jordan's work without Keith.

I didn't want you banned before and you can find my reaction on the boards at the time. I felt bad that I contributed by egging you on with the whole Jar-Jar thing which apparently I was the only person entertained by.

any of these subject matters are allowed on dis tred, no?...

NotHevy - any original 'SH member' alone.
SortaHevy - any 2 original 'SH members' performing together.
KindaHevy - 3
HevyEnough - 4
5 - SupaHevy
5+ - TooFreaknHevy

(any 2+ riding in an Impala - ChevyHevy (sorry i couldn't help ourselves))

Re: SuperHeavy

Keep using the royal "we" and writing in cod-Jamaican, Natlanta and you'll help assuage my guilt for contributing to Rev's latest meltdown. Gratefully, he has plenty of personalities so not all of them are likely offended.

Re: SuperHeavy

Now "we" seems appropriate, imo winking smiley

Hey, why are you so damn serious? I do not like all those words - ever, never, etc...
Come on, it's only rock'n'roll band forum, we all post here for fun. I like your contribution and your sense of humor. I don't want you to leave and I don't consider this thread to be mine - I'm not that obsessive.
I have only one wish - not to post off topic. It's hard to find something that really interests you in so much irrelevant information.

MICK JAGGER SAYS SUPERHEAVY PULLED HIM OUT OF HIS ‘COMFORT ZONE’
by: Joe Robinson

Mick Jagger says his new SuperHeavy project set out to sound different from the outset — but even they weren’t quite sure what that meant until they got together and started playing.
“The thing is that in popular music … you do get a lot of repetition and people like repetition, people are comfortable with repetition,” he continues. “So to do something that isn’t [comfortable] is always difficult and not always appealing to everybody, because people when they listen to it have to work a little harder that they would.”
Jagger concludes: “As soon as you step out of the norm that you’ve established — especially somebody like myself who has been doing this for a very long time — people go, ‘what on Earth is that?’ So it’s hard for the performer to do, and it’s hard for the listener to accept.”
