Joss a few nights ago in Rio, doing our themesong: got a right to be wrong

I've got a right to be wrong
My mistakes will make me strong
I'm stepping out into the great unknown
I'm feeling wings though I've never flown
I've got a mind of my own
I'm flesh and blood to the bone
I'm not made of stone
Got a right to be wrong
So just leave me alone

I've got a right to be wrong
I've been held down too long
I've got to break free
So I can finally breathe
I've got a right to be wrong
Got to sing my own song
I might be singing out of key
But it sure feels good to me
Got a right to be wrong
So just leave me alone

You're entitled to your opinion
But it's really my decision
I can't turn back I'm on a mission
If you care don't you dare blur my vision
Let me be all that I can be
Don't smother me with negativity
Whatever's out there waiting for me
I'm going to face it willingly

I've got a right to be wrong

Great new vid from Dave Stewart, in which he practices his
"Miracle Worker" character, just in case NoComment is right
and Jagger's services are no longer required...

Hang on, are you Keith & Jane Rose?

I know...'no comment'!
I wish he didn't have a comment. Problem is he has way too many comments to make.

There was a brief moment that I thought he was kind of funny, but it's all a bit overdone and boring now.

so sad. sad smiley

There really should be a smiley face that has tears.

Can we contact the board manager about an upgrade?

Just so long as he doesn't start receiving instructions to kill from SuperHeavy lyrics (or Damian or Joss' lyrics from their own work), his fantasy identification with the artists isn't really something that worries me since it's what makes Rev unique...along with the royal "we" thing. He is very talented if nothing else.

Dave had an underappreciated album a few years back with saxophonist
Candy Dulfer. Here's what was considered a rare video for the instrumental
"Lily Was Here". Amazingly it now has over 3.3 million youtube views, more
than all but a handful of Stones vids. The more you look into it, the
more you'll agree: Dave's the man!

This is one of my alltime favorites, for many many years now.
And yes, Dave, Mick, A.R., Joss and Damian are a very SuperHeavy constellation of talented and well known professionell artists, everyone knows, besides all those ignorant self-called stonesfans.

Very good hint, Natlanta! smiling smiley

Most of these self-called stonesfans are more into some Rolling Stones fetishes, like skis, coffeecups, stickers, expensive wine, cards, shot glasses etc etc. The main point is that there must be a tounge on it. They don't care about good music anymore. And most of them are living in the past and can't open their mind, can't listen to music done by foreigners or newcomers.

But the world is turning, on and on ... smoking smiley

The album with Candy Dufler is excellent. I'm also fond of Dave's GREETINGS FROM THE GUTTER CD and his SPIRITUAL COWBOYS CD, but then I've never had a problem with Dave's work.

I guarantee that I have received no compenstaion of any kind form anybody about anything I have ever posted anywhere... and on the matter of Super Heavy I have stayed fairly neutral, I dont care except that it might distract Jagger from The Stones, but that is not my business, so I have not said much positive or negative.

Your clearly unfounded attacks are very hurtful to me. I've never seen you posting such attacks against all these "The Rolling Stones"- and "Mick Jagger" bashers. Who do pay all those crude posters? Who did pay you to attack me?

I'm really horrified by your very bad manners.

OK, this is simple, I stated I was not paid by anyone... but I did not see you say that.

Who are you to blame people to be paid for being a stonesfan and to force them to do some statements? This is not only unethical, in Germany those coercions are against law, too.

Record review: SuperHeavy
David Voigt, Toronto Music Examiner
"...It may not last but “SuperHeavy” is what a supergroup is supposed to be about, and with this diverse collections of musicians spanning genres on one record we get the first real musical expression of what is most important to the modern music fan today; whatever is on his playlist."
4 out of 5 stars.

SuperHeavy SuperHeavy
By Tim Fenster news editor
"...All three have strong lyrical cohesion even though each vocalist's lyrics feature different tones and attitudes. Stone's lyrics are deeply personal and heart-touching, Marley's raps are politically charged and uplifting, and Jagger, now 68, can still be mean and sexually suggestive with his lyrics (See Jagger sing "There's nothing wrong with you I can't fix / I come a runnin' with my little bag of tricks," while wearing a pink suit in the "Miracle Worker" music video)."

Y'know people always say to us, they say, "NoComment, y'all seem to always be on
top of things. Always, y'know, somewhat ahead of the crowd, like you was on a
lookout point or something like that. So what we want to know, NC, if you might
agree to help us out some, is just how does a fella or gal supposed to tell the
difference between Dave Stewart and Keith Richards? We swear they was twins,
know what we're getting at?"

Yeah, bro, we know exactly what you mean. When we was little snips, we had the
same problem, and its only years of study that has given us a few fool-proof
methods of telling them two buggers apart. Here's the easiest one by far...

Whereas Keith Richards can be often seen in the company of Johnny Depp,
Dave Stewart prefers to exchange eye contact with Johnny's wife.

Eye contact is soooo good .Especially when two people get to intimacy.

I always liked very much Vanessa -talentued on movies, she was so bashed in France when came "Joe le taxi "
and some how on songs .
IMO She is so pretty ,cleaver & good minded -I don't like her front tooth though ...

they have more in common - both are in love with Mick. But Richards is an ex wife, so he's angry and jealous, and Stewart is Jagger's present gf - and he's happy and proud

Hope you're right, proudmary, but we're still fearful Dave may have entered
his own longsuffering period with the notorious philanderer.

Dave has tweeted “Joss and I are off to Germany this week to perform
Live on a TV show called Wetten Dass, we will also be talking about our
plans for SuperHeavy, with or without Jagger.”

Of course lol that's just our imaginary translation of what he really tweeted,
“Joss and I are off to Germany this week to perform Live on a TV show
called Wetten Dass, we will also be talking about SuperHeavy and our
plans ahead.”

Via Eurhythmics UK, here's a link where you're supposed to be able to
view a livestream of the TV show, but all the info is in German...

Joss and Dave will be performing the song Karma. In our fervid imaginations,
this song choice is also directed at Jagger:

If I was just a little bit stronger, baby
Coulda made it last a little bit longer maybe
Coulda made it on my own
I should have just let you go
I should have been a little bit stronger, baby

If I was just a little bit sweeter, baby
I know, I know, I know I wouldn't be here alone
Thank God I'm a little bit meaner, baby

[Chorus]
I am what I am, you did what you did
Im glad I'm not a sinner baby, cause here's a twist
You are what you are, I saw what I saw
Karma is your master, and you're the bitch

You could have tried a little bit harder, baby
You could have been a little bit smarter baby
I tried not to see when you were on and off for me
You could have tried a little bit harder, baby

[Bridge]
Now I got a loaded gun now, baby
Gonna love to watch you run like a lady
And cry like a baby just like I did when you had gone

I should have been a little bit stronger
I should have been a little bit harder
I should have been a little bit tougher
I should have been a little bit smarter
I should have been a little bit rougher
I should have been a little bit stronger
I should have run a little bit faster
Away from you baby, away from you

I may be on my own...
Now the feeling's gone
It's sooooo gone.
