Gives a great description on the opening of gimme shelter on the desert island disks.

Its around 13 minutes into the programme on the BBC website, think its just for the Uk only thou.

Somebody knows if the song "Catch as Catch can" is available somewhere?
He recorded it with Mick Taylor in '73 if memory serves.

It worked fine for me. I think the BBC website has restrictions only with their video archive.

Here it is, for those interested: [www.bbc.co.uk]

Thanks for the link Cristiano. I have to agree with Mr. Millar on the GS intro, one of the very best every recorded. I wish they could reproduce it live but they have never come close, imo. Keith doesn't play it the same, the guitar tone and nuances are always a shadow of the original record. Jimmy Miller at his absolute best. Can't even begin to describe what the Stones owe that guy for his amazing production work.

peace

He picks gimme shelter as the one record he would take with him to the island.

Talks well about the stones.
