Mick in NYC March 24
Date: March 25, 2015 13:21

Ridiculous non-story, but he's there anyhow smiling smiley

IORR Editor comment:
Daily Mail says "Mick Jagger was spotted out-and-about in New York on Wednesday morning", but the story was published 11:11 GMT, 25 March 2015, which is 7am EST i.e. local time NYC. The picture must be from the day before i.e. Tuesday March 24.

Skinny jeans? Skinny MJ! The jeans almost look oversized.

Fun fact: when Mick wears skinny jeans, they turn into sweat pants. That's how skinny he is.

The star is rumoured to be in the US ahead of a major North American tour announcement, which will see the Stones visit most major cities, this summer.

The Stones need a shoe adviser.

Mick uses shoes that work best with his back. Not all fashion shoes are ideal if you want to take care of your back.

What's wrong with Nike? There is no better running shoe on the planet.

I like the Nike trainers. Keith wears them on occasion as well. They look a lot better than those turquoise lace up slippers that Keith has been sporting lately!

Always nice to see pics of Mick and of Mr. D...what's amazing is that Mick and Keith (yes he did change green shoes recently) always seem to be wearing the same clothes! They must have 5x pairs of each? By the way I got a pair of these Nike's last year and I returned them as I didn't find them very comfy (not to mention ineffective for serious running) and had a tongue that kept sliding, very annoying !

a good lesson for everybody really-in the states its the worst.people saying things like you can/cant "get away" with wearing this or that..its like things reverted back to the 1950's.

keith had a great line about it a few years ago.he said"when i grew up everyone tried to be different, now everyone tries to be the same"

Mick looks great!
Keith looks great!
They will average 2 shows per week.
Their rehearsals often go about 4 hours (with one break), 5 days a week for a couple weeks.

No reason they can't give us a 2 1/2 hour show.

Huh. I posted this story this morning in the Keith sticky thread, but it's gone now...didn't even get folded into this one. I'm feeling kinda hurt, BV. grinning smiley

First, that is not Larry David.
Second, Bill Prince at the Telegraph wrote a few nice pieces awhile back about Mick, Keith and Ronnie wearing Nike trainers on stage.
Third, Mick looks ready as usual.
Fourth, a question: seems to be leaving an hotel, thought Mick still had a place in NYC? Truck on Merc is open for luggage so it's not just a meeting.
