setlist demands

i know the rolling stones are not a jukebox. i also know mick jagger could give a flying F what you want to hear. but the setlist i saw on the 2013 american tour has the same outline as bridges in '97 & bigger bang in '05. at this stage they are going to play a hot rocks set (the stones playing their best songs/good, NO GREAT idea!) but it would be nice to see a different outline.

brown sugar
around & around
you got me rockin'
only rock n roll/let it bleed
starfooker/shattered
rain fall down (good idea for outdoor shows in the summer)
no expectations/saint of me
love in vain/you gotta move/little red rooster
imagination/whip come down
let's spend the night together/bitch
live with me/start me up
happy
slipping away
before they make me run
you can't always get/can't you hear me knocking
tumblin' dice
out of control
honky tonk
miss you
midnight rambler/sympathy
jumpin' jack flash
encore
satisfaction
street fightin' man

setlist shocker: CLAUDINE (yeah i know/pretenious/but you can wish)

i have heard all of those live already...

how about Memo From Tunrer and Do You Think I Care (now that its an official release should have been a no brainer for NY are shows)

That is 23 songs!
You have too scratch 5 of them.
I also think You Got Me Rocking and Honky Tonk Women shouldn't be regulars in the setlist.
It would be intresting to see if they decided to stop playing Honky Tonk Women on a regular basis, and then included it in the ''song vote'' list every now and then instead. Do you think Honky Tonk Women would get more votes than, let's say Sway or Loving Cup?

As you've included more songs than they now play, allow me to edit it down to 19 songs for you (also, must make allowances for the Sticky Fingers portions so):

Start Me Up
YGMR
The Last Time
Tumbling dice
brown sugar
bitch
CYHMK
Sway
Dead Flowers
Wild Horses
Moonlight Mile

happy
slipping away
miss you
honky tonk women
SFTD
jumpin' jack flash
encore
satisfaction
street fighting man

Are you making some sort of a threat if your demands are not met?

With such a great catalog to choose from I would love to see them totally mix it up, blow some minds with great rarely played tunes. 2000 LYFH was a blast in 1989 and a surprise highlight for me. But I think at this stage, with stadium tours and not much time to rehearse I think all we can expect is one or two surprises. Possibly just the rumored SF tunes to support the deluxe re-release. Playing all these "new" locations allows them to get away it without seeming redundant.

Most longtime fans here can probably predict the setlist to a song. And based on the fan request thing from last tour they have a pretty good idea of some other tunes to throw in. So I'm just going to expect the same from them and be happily surprised if they decide to take any chances at all.

peace

Wishful thinking my friend. They are set and locked in for 2 hours. No more....no less.

Took a pee in a cup once Voo Doo Lounge Tour - Row 14 Center Stage Little Rock Arkansas - No way was I leaving. It was a misty rain show. Mick, Keith and Ronnie had floppy hats on and sang Far Away Eyes!

People next to me weren't impressed!

Exactly. Had to over come a little stage fright at first so it took a longer to get started than usual. But I didn't miss one note!

I hope people at least applauded upon completion. You were owed at least that.

Bet no one would buy you a beer afterward!
