no opinion on this version from any fan out there Would you just rather discuss birthdays, Charlie Sheen, Playboy and Pink Floyd instead?

a cover version of a RS song is basically no more OT than any other OT thread on IORR. Heck even myself and most everybody else can do a "cover version". The reason of the lack of responses are obviously because nobody liked that Paint It Black version or that they've rightously got more than enough of "cover versions" of RS tunes.

I like the Dirty Heads version , and I've seem them perform it live to. They do a good job of it.

The Karel Gott version is surprisingly good, but the one thing that annoys me is his terrible german pronounciation, as if he doesn't understand a word what he is singing, just like the Beatles recordings in german language Komm Gib Mir Deine Hand oder Sie Liebt Dich. Karels version in english would not sound unlike Tom Jones - schmaltzy, but in a good way.

The reggae version though is absolute killer.
