No it's not Bobby, it's Trevor Lawrence.

He's playing the melody. Why is it terrible?

Bobby's bathtub incident.

Sorry to be so OT but I don't believe it for one minute. You don't fire a guy mid-tour cos he has a 4-digit champagne bill. That's his problem, and it doesn't put the band in jeopardy.
You put the band in jeopardyif you're so addcited to H that you cannot play your parts onstage. That warrants a plane trip home mid-tour.

That's why I think the "champagne tub" incident happened in 1970, not in 1973.
Bobby probably thought he was a Stones and he tried to impress this French woman... "Hey chérie watch how I spend my money". Silly but charming! grinning smiley

He refused to come along to the next gig. It had nothing to do with the bill.

When you're not bothering to show up, you put the band in jeopardy, agree?

I always thought Bobby left the tour because he just couldn't keep up with it. Too much boy ,too much drink , too much everything. I think he called Keith & told him he had to quit & Keith told him to make it count because it will be pretty hard getting him back into the band. Sometimes addicts reach a point where you just can't do that stuff anymore...some take longer than others to reach that point.

This was absolutely the reason he was fired...he got so full of himself he figured the Stones would wait on him...

I think they were only mildly amused at garnishing Bobby's wages

...not easy to find the truth.!.for exemple you have to compare the version of Keith in his book and the one from Bobby in "Saturay night"..

I find it's more accurate to ignore both braggarts accounts and extrapolate my own mis truth altogether
